For family reasons, Diana has decided to relocate to the San Francisco bay area effective Fall 2006. Although her original plan was to close her Sacramento office permanently, continuing demand for her services combined with steep price increases following new federal bankruptcy legislation led to a new business model and a more economical way to serve debtors.

In 1991, attorney Diana J. Cavanaugh began practicing law in Tracy California. During her time in Tracy, she handled a wide variety of cases including family law, criminal, civil, and bankruptcy.
In 1996 Diana relocated to Sacramento to specialize in bankruptcy exclusively. Between 1996 and 2006 she handled hundreds of cases representing a diverse range of clients and gaining valuable experience in all areas of bankruptcy law and the Sacramento federal court.

Diana Cavanaugh is an East Bay native. Her degrees include a bachelor of arts from the University of California, Berkeley in 1987 (in political science and economics) and a law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1990.
Diana will continue to offer consultations, answer questions, and inspect documents for Sacramento Bankruptcy customers but will not represent them. This way prospective individuals and couples can be assured of quality and completeness while still benefitting from greatly reduced cost.
